Barefoot Day...how did I almost miss that?

Moisturize those little piggies and put them on parade, ladies. And do it in the name of charity.

April 5th, 2011 is official "One day with no shoes."

Tom's Shoes was started by a former contestant on "The Amazing Race," Blake Mycoscie.  He stated that when in Argentina he noticed many of the children without any shoes. Touched by that he started the  company, Toms with the mission that every pair of shoes sold would be another pair of given to needy child.

What is your favorite barefoot memory?

  1. When I first heard about this guy, I thought, 'This is one of the finest charities I've ever heard of.' Thank you so much for reminding me of his work. Great post!

  2. I love my Toms, and I love what the company stands for. My favorite barefoot memories are summer days when my brother and I would play outside barefoot all day. Those were the days :)

  3. I love mine too. I am pretty sure I was barefoot from May all the way through to August! I loved summer.
