Can You Hear That?

The only music in my head this weekend sounds like a metronome.  

Constant. Ticking off the seconds.  

One at a time. 

Not sure if the storm will descend 

or

move on by. 

My lungs ache from holding my breath.  

I am waiting to sigh, in relief either way.  

Knowing is better.

    I wouldn't want to be sitting under that cloud...looks like there's a big hole at the bottom just waiting to suck everything up in its wake.
